Open Heavens For Teens 15 April 2019 Monday MESSAGE:

Today, we are going to talk about the independence of God’s word; the Holy Bible. The Bible is filled with words inspired by God as stated in our memory verse for today.
*”20.Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.*
*21.For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost”*. 2 Peter 1:20-21

Open Heavens For Teens 15 April 2019 Monday Key Point

As a teenager, you might have wished for God to speak to you at one point or the other, but He already has. God has spoken to you through your bible and all you have to do is to hear Him talk is to pock up your bible and read.
Secondly, as it so expected of you to keep growing physically, so also spiritually. Reading the Bible is the only way you will grow spiritually. If you don’t read the word of God as often as you eat, then your spirit-man will become malnourished and in the long run die.

KEY POINT:
The word of God is the only food that you need to take at least as often as you eat physical food.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
1 Samuel 17 -18, Luke 15:1-10

Hymn 8
1. Immortal, invisible, God only wise,
In light inaccessible hid from our eyes
Most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of days,
Almighty, victorious, Thy great name we praise.

2. Unresting, unhasting, and silent as light,
Nor wanting, nor wasting, thou rulest in might;
Thy justice like mountains high soaring above,
Thy clouds which are fountains of goodness and love.

3. To all life thou givest to both great and small;
In all life Thou livest, the true life of all;
We blossom and flourish as leaves on the tree,
And wither and perish, but nought changeth Thee.

4. Great Father of Glory, pure Father of Light,
Thine angels adore Thee, all veiling their sight;
All laud we would render; o help us to see;
‘Tis only the splendor of light hideth Thee.

5. Immortal, invisible, God only wise,
In light inaccessible hid from our eyes
Most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of days,
Almighty, victorious, Thy great name we praise.
